a 34-year-old toronto man faces a dozen charges after a trio of suspicious incidents involving children.
toronto police said between feb. 13 and march 3, officeres responded to three calls in the annette st.-pacific ave. area and the humberside ave.-high park area.
it’s alleged that on feb. 13, two children were walking in the annette st.-pacific ave. area when they were approached by an unknown male who asked them to accompany him to an unknown location.
cops say the children were able to run away in the opposite direction.
it’s further alleged that on saturday, two children were walking in the annette st.-pacific ave. area when they noticed an unknown male was following them. police said the male tapped one of the children on the shoulder and told them to accompany him.
police alleged that both children began shouting to attract attention and one of the children was able to run away.
cops alleged that the male tried to block the second child’s path, but the child was able to run towards a passerby for assistance.
it’s further alleged that on monday a child was walking in the humberside ave.-high park ave. area when the child was approached by an unknown male who tapped the child on the shoulder and attempted to engage them in conversation.

cops said the child allegedly pushed the male away and ran home.
on tuesday, officers were patrolling the area as part of this investigation and the male suspect was located.
lucas petrini faces 10 counts of fail to comply with long-term supervision order and two counts of assault.
investigators believe there may be more victims and have released an image.
