amy schumer is feeling good about her body these days, if recent photos on her instagram account are any indication.
the comedian-actress, 45, included shots of a recent summer getaway, some of which included her in a bikini and swim accessories.
“i never knew there would be days like this. no filter as per ushe, (usual),” the life & beth star wrote.

she later shared another photo of herself dressed in a white strapless top and shorts alongside friends pals courteney cox, jennifer aniston and others.
schumer quickly earned praise from friends and fans, according to foxnews.com.
“so beautiful, amy. happy and thriving,” actress kate walsh commented, according to foxnews.com.
“gorgeous,” another wrote.

schumer has publicly documented her weight loss over the years following a diagnosis of cushing syndrome in 2024 that caused her face to swell up.
last december, the actress said on her instagram stories that she’d lost 50 pounds to “survive” rather than to “look hot which does feel fun and temporary.”
she’s also previously commented on getting liposuction in 2022 and her use of glp-1 mounjaro in march 2025.
schumer praised the effects of mounjaro (also known as tirzepatide) in a video clip shared on instagram with her nearly 13 million followers.
“i wanted to share and keep it 100 with you, that years ago – and yes, this is completely unsafe to be driving and making a video – years ago, three years ago, i tried wegovy and i was like puking,” schumer said in the clip captured while she was behind the wheel.
“i couldn’t handle it. i don’t know if they’ve changed the formula or whatever… but anyway, i went on this telehealth meeting with midihealth, and it was cheap. i wanted to try it myself, cause i wanted to recommend it to my friends who are like nurses and teachers.”

in addition to the injectable medication, which is primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes, the trainwreck star detailed a new routine, which includes hormones.
“they put me on estrogen and progesterone because i realized i was in perimenopause and my symptoms of being in perimenopause have disappeared,” schumer said.
other health issues she revealed in 2024 have included perimenopause and endometriosis.
schumer wrote earlier this year that her increasing social media presence was a result of her feeling “strong and beautiful” following her weight loss.
“pics of yourself when you’re finally feeling strong and beautiful are not a cry for help,” she wrote. “they are a celebration of life and health. love to the single moms out there.”

had tried other medications
the actress previously revealed she tried ozempic and wegovy but suffered severe nausea due to a genetic predisposition.
during an appearance on the howard stern show last year, the comic opened up about trying medication for weight-loss purposes.
“i have this gene — gdf15 — which makes you extremely prone to nausea, which is why i was so sick during my pregnancy. so, i tried ozempic almost three years ago and i was like bedridden, i was vomiting, and then you have no energy but other people take it, and they’re all good,” she explained.
“i lost 30 pounds so quick,” said schumer, who shares four-year-old son gene with ex-husband, chris fischer.
“i looked great, and i couldn’t lift my head off the pillow, so what’s the point?”
schumer revealed her cushing syndrome diagnosis was a blessing because it led doctors to uncover the underlying cause.
over the years, schumer has also been candid about living with endometriosis and undergoing a hysterectomy in 2021.
