hundreds of people filled the streets of downtown charlottetown on the morning of july 25 as they took part in the annual p.e.i. pride parade.
the parade began at 10 a.m. at the provincial government parking lot near terry fox drive before making its way along euston, great george, grafton and pownal streets, ending on fitzroy street.
people of all ages lined the route, cheering and waving rainbow flags as the parade marched through the city.
the annual event is one of the highlights of p.e.i. pride festival and celebrates the island’s 2slgbtqia+ community.
