the occupants of a vehicle are sought after fleeing the scene of a crash where a firearm was found friday night in scarborough.
toronto police say officers responded to the area of birchmount rd. and lawrence ave. e. just before 8 p.m. after a speeding vehicle was involved in a collision.
the occupants of the suspect vehicle took off.
but police say a gun was located.
one person from the other vehicle involved in the crash was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
the investigation is ongoing.
