three males, including two youths, are facing assault charges after a weekend stabbing at victoria park station.
toronto police said officers responded to the ttc station on saturday at about 7:30 p.m. after an altercation involving the victim and three males in the bus bay area. the victim, a 44-year-old man, was stabbed in the lower back and taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
all three suspects fled from the scene.
police said they identified one of the suspects on monday and charged a 15-year-old boy with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
two other suspects were arrested and charged on tuesday with a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man each charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
police said the adult was not being identified to protect the youths’ identities.
