police are investigating a suspected arson at an alternative high school in abbotsford early monday.
it happened at the bakerview centre for learning school in the 32600-block of marshall road just before 3:50 a.m.
firefighters put out a small fire that damaged the exterior and interior of the building. there were no injuries.
abbotsford police said the fire is being investigated as an arson.
the school will be closed on monday due to the investigation and for cleanup and repairs, said the abbotsford school district.
bakerview offers an alternative secondary school program, a night school program for adults, and self-paced courses.
police are asking anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, or who has dashcam footage at the time of the incident, to call abbotsford police at 604-859-5225.
